April 2013 - Hiking in the West Fjords - Day 4

Continuation of the previous day... Fourth and last day hiking in the West Fjords, the weather is about to turn bad so I'm heading back to the valley and the car. Slowly but surely the clouds will make their way in the mountains and reduce the visibility to the point where there won't be any visibility. Using the compass and the map I'll find my way down the valley (not the one I was aiming for, but close enough) and get back to the car late in the evening, where an incredibly generous and welcoming farmer will take me to his house for a dinner, a shower, and good night sleep. A little more visibilty at times, but usually not more than for a few minutes

As I go down in the Valley, I meet the storm and progress will be difficult and painful. Going into the wind, without glasses it's impossible to see, and with glasses on, I have to clean them up every 10 seconds to be able to see anything. But after a few hours walking at 45° I will finally get out of it
