Northern Lights, Skiðadalur, Iceland, 2014
Monday evening, the forecast was too good to pass, so I quickly packed some warm cloth and food to spend the night outside. The moon was full, the sky clear, the Northern Lights a little shy but they came for a short while and danced a little. Away from the city lights, at the end of the valley, sheltered from the wind by the trees, everything was just perfect.

19h - Just as I get at the end of the valley, the Northern Lights are starting to arrive
Pretty show over Dalvik
Now in the forest with a nice spot to spend the night
Camera on tripod, remote control plugged in, I am now watching the show from the (relative) warmth of the sleeping bag
A little bit of red, but mostly green tonight
The dance of the Northern Lights
23h - The last part of tonight's show
The Northern Lights are slowly going away, leaving a sky full of stars
The green "fog" fading out
And the show is off. Northern Lights off, time to sleep
